Attractive aromas of rhubarb and cherry with tobacco, dark chocolate and earth are followed by long and complex palate of ripe raspberries with dark chocolate and velvety tannins.

Inky ruby. Ripe, spice-tinged cherry and blueberry on the deeply perfumed nose and in the mouth. Plush and open-knit, with woodsmoke and sweet vanilla elements gaining strength with air. A soft and juicy wine with a cola and dried fruit character. Vanilla too. Full body, round and flavorful. Small percentage of dried fruit used for fermenting (ripasso). Drink now. Screw cap.
The second pass Shiraz is sourced from our family’s premium vineyards in Australia. After fermentation, the wine was pressed onto the pomace and yeast lees of our premium “Alfredo” Dry Grape Shiraz adding to the wines’ intensity. Thereafter, the wine was matured in French and American oak for 12 months resulting in a wine of concentration and quality.
