Edgebaston Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Baked plum and black berry aromas mesh with a meaty character on the nose, while black pepper and crushed carnation petals add depth to the black fruit-dominant palate. It takes a while for the wine to fully open up, but once it comes out of its shell the silky texture and rich fruit character shines magnificently.
Originally from the north of Scotland, the generations of the Finlayson family have been making wine in the Cape over the past half century. This legacy continues today with the Edgebaston range, made with the same care and attention that has made our wines synonymous with quality and enjoyment. The Edgebaston property is situated on a hillside overlooking the picturesque and historic town of Stellenbosh mountains
