Casas del Bosque Gran Bosque Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

“Intense ruby red in color, this wine offers on the nose aromas of cassis, raspberry, black cherry, graphite with a hint of mint herb typical of the grape’s origin. After proper aeration, spice, cedar and coffee bean notes emerge. The palate is an evolution of flavors, all delimited by the framework of tannins. Ripe, elegant tannins give a sense of direction to the wine on the palate. As the wine spreads on the palate, it shows its harmonious structure and almost gives the impression of being a “mousse”. The flavor lingers long and retronasal aromas of roasting continue to appear. ”
ALBERTO GUOLO
“Floral, spice and cassis accents reveal this red’s plush and concentrated core of creamed plum and black raspberry, offset by piquant red chili and lively details of pomegranate and molasses. Finishes with earthy, smoky chocolate notes and integrated tannins. Drink now through 2035. 520 cases made, 200 cases imported.”

“Hailing from the Maipo Valley, this Cabernet Sauvignon offers peppery notes, a subtle touch of cinnamon, and red fruit. It’s savory, with fine-grained tannins and good freshness. Layers of dark chocolate lead to a long finish.”

“Cedary oak-spice notes to the intense, ripe red cherries and cassis. Juicy, medium-bodied palate with fresh, firm tannins and a linear yet structured finish. Very long. Better from 2025.”
